We started the endurance test for our basic model TB-40 in the autumn of 2003, and the test is continuing until now, passing more than 30,000 hours of continuous running and intermittent running respectively. The test was conducted under various conditions. No failure has occurred under our standard condition of use, and the cooling capacity, running noise and oscillation are kept to the level almost equal to that of the beginning. The test for high power model TB-80 also passed more than 18,000 hours and we have confirmed that deterioration in cooling capacity, noise value or oscillation value has not occurred, same as TB-40.
The life test which will be conducted from now on will continue more than 50,000 hours. We will continue the endurance test to verify the life and potential failure of our FPSCs.
